"Matt took over the Crawfordsville Friends of NRA committee in 2021 and has continued to grow the already extremely successful event. This committee has been one of the top 5 in the state for the past 8 years. Now under Matt's leadership, it has risen to number 2 in the state. This is also a record for the Crawfordsville committee, and Matt is already finding new ways to increase the net for 2024. In his time as chairman, he has brought in new younger committee members and attendees to insure the future of the program.
Matt continually performs at the highest of standards representing Friends of NRA in his community. He is a strong member of the State Fund Committee, helping to guide the voting body to make the best decisions for the funds raised. Matt communicates regularly with other chairs to plan and grow fundraising efforts around the state. Matt even helped at 4 other events last year, running raffles and auctions. Then he works with local conservation clubs, ranges, and businesses to help spread word of the events and sell sponsorships.
In all, Matt is the perfect example of what a Friends of NRA chairman should be. He is a great leader to his team and a supporter for all others. He is ready to help whenever it is needed by other committees."
