"Todd exemplifies what it means to live and breathe Friends of NRA. He has run multiple events for his committee for several years, allowing attendees to support at whatever ability they can. He has been the heart of the committee since he joined; he is the ‘General’ of the event and runs his committee efficiently and effectively. Unlike other committees that have a chair and few others that do all the work, Todd has worked very hard to surround himself with a group of officers and volunteers that will.

Todd also represents the Tug Hill Friends of NRA committee wherever he can. Throughout his 11 years volunteering with the committee, he has attended at least 100 gun shows, and promoted the program at Gander Mountain, the Fair, and Woodsmen’s Days. Todd has also represented the committee at the New York State High School State Trap Shooting Championships and with the New York State High School Clay Target League, and has even participated in at least 25 different sportsmen’s clubs. Todd has helped his committee reach some great achievements; for 5 years they had the highest net in Upstate New York, and they broke the state record for the highest net funds earned by a committee in 1 year by $48,000.

In addition to serving as the chair of the Tug Hill Friends of NRA committee, Todd has been a State Fund delegate for 7 years, and has assisted with at least 5 other Friends of NRA committees. Together, Todd and his wife have personally folded, stuffed and addressed over 4,000 pieces of mail since 2016. Todd is the first person in New York to ever receive the honor of being the Volunteer of the Year a second time. During the dark days of COVID, he was able to net over $67,000 when most committees didn’t even have an event. He is deserving of not only being the state Volunteer of the Year, but also the Regional Volunteer of the Year."
