"Hubert Hoffman saved the Coulee Region Friends of NRA event from not happening by being the only person left on a committee to step up to keep the event going. He was able to recruit 6 committee members to the group to keep the event on track. He also organized the committee to work one gun show and spent most of 3 days working a sports show not taking many breaks to sell Wall of Guns tickets.

Hubert is a natural leader who is not afraid to take the bull by the horns to get the dirty work done. I believe that his leadership style has set a great tone for the committee, and we saw great strides in a group that was new to volunteering for the Friends of NRA program. It was that attitude that helped their event have the highest attendance and net revenue that they have had in years.

Hubert is the voting member for the Coulee Region Friends of NRA and has attended the training and grant weekend for many years. He also attended several other events in the area to help support the success of those events, and is willing to do anything asked of him to help the Friends of NRA program succeed.

It is an absolute pleasure to nominate Hubert Hoffman as the 2022 Volunteer of the Year. He deserves recognition for his dedication to Friends of NRA and the revenue he has been responsible for in the past year. He saved an event from no longer happening, and was key in the event having one of its most successful years in both net revenue and attendance. His committee helps him work gun shows and other events in the area to further the success of his event. He always looks for new ways to promote his event and the betterment of the Friends program."
